The key to my heart

Isn't it nice for your loved one to be reminded of you each time they grab their keys to unlock their car or office or house? :)

This lovely little key chain says it all! The white alphabets and pink heart give a very nice 3D effect to the key chain.

p/s: This can actually be a GREAT Recycling project!

You may have several simple and unused key chains lying around the house. Or maybe the engraving or design is no longer in fashion. This is the perfect way to give new life to an old/dated item!

A lovely little ladybug

This li'l ladybug is quite traditional with the red and black colors. Might try some other colors in the future - orange? yellow? blue?? :)

Who likes Patrick?

I saw a picture of Patrick the red dog while I was surfing around and I thought to myself... "Hmm... that's something I can make!" And I did! :)

Need some help answering this question though - is Patrick somehow related to Clifford the Big Red Dog? Is he the Asian version??

:)

I Love you BEARY much!

I LOVE teddybears! :)

Here are a few of the teddies I've made :)

This lil guy is sitting down waiting for someone to pick him up to play ;)

My heart belongs to you...

These are two bears I made as a gift. They are just so cute, and made to be together in one pair..

How's Crabby?

When I went to Krabi for a holiday, my friends kept asking "How's Crabby?" Thus the title of the post ;)

Krabi was good... and so is Crabby! She's got big claws to grab on to your heart, and a white rose as her accessory :)

Panda-monium!

Classic black and white, always cute and playful. Who doesn't love pandas?? :)

Pandas have always fascinated me since I saw real ones at the San Diego Zoo! I even followed their panda-cam for a while ;)

Do think about adding this li'l guy to your collection!

OOH-ctopus

This little fella looks like he's saying "OOH!" :)

For all the admirers of eight-legged sea creatures, here's one for you! Colors can be customized... get as creative as you wish :)

Remember Pokemon? ;)

I'm not sure if it's the same for all, but there was a period when Pikachu the Pokemon was very popular among the kids.

When I started making this clay piece, I had wanted to create a tree. It turned out to look kinda half Pokemon and half tree :) So, it's a Poke-tree? ;)

Black Tabby

Check out this cute li'l black tabby :) She's got a ribbon around her neck and a pink button nose :)

My little pink piglings

Why piglings you may ask? Not piglets??

Going on a tangent from clay stuff:
A friend once told me about an international student who said that a baby pig should be called a "pigling". Why a pigling? Well, a baby duck is a duckling, so why shouldn't a baby pig be a "pigling"? Ohhh... the English language...

Back to the topic at hand.... let me share two different piglings I've made!

The first one is simpler, but cute nonetheless :)

The second little pigling, is Piglet! :) He looks like he is pondering on something important ;)

A tin for anything!

You know how you sometimes go to weddings (mainly at a certain H hotel), and they give you favors in the form of mints in a tin? Well, some people might discard those tin boxes once they have finished the mints, but not me! They're sooooo useful!

I can store li'l bits and pieces of craft items in there, or even earrings or paperclips! Lots of uses for a small mint tin.

And... we should be greener and ReUse this versatile item! :)

Here, I've made use of my clay interest and added on some decorative touches to the mint tin. It looks very different after the "remodel" ;) Hope this inspires you!

Bunny Magic!

Instead of being the bunny that pops out of the magician's hat, this bunny is the one who does the magic! :) He's all dressed up and ready to go! ;)

Help our Penyu!

This little guy was inspired by Squirt from Finding Nemo. I'm sure you can see the resemblance :)

I'd like to dedicate this little fella to the folks at Help Our Penyu who are doing great work in conserving (and eventually growing!) the turtle population in Malaysia. HOPE to join in one of their projects in the future!

Pinky the Penguin

Pinky is a one-of-a-kind penguin with a pink beak and pink feet :) She acknowledges and celebrates her uniqueness! :)

Pretzville

Oooooopppsss... I lied. One more snowman-related post ;)

Other than making Christmas presents annually, I also started creating edible sceneries a few years ago. This was fully inspired by Martha Stewart in her Christmas issue :)

For the past 2 years, I used only edible materials in my creations... see below. Can you identify the stuff? ;)

Last year though, because I had discovered clay craft, I added a multi-media aspect to my "edible" creations. Instead of using candy to create the inhabitants of my little land, I made super-miniature snowmen instead!

I also called it Pretzville (guess you can figure out why). Enjoy!
